COMIDA APPROVES BREAKS FOR ADECCO

ROCHESTER, NY- Human resource service provider Adecco USA Inc. plans to spend nearly $1 million to expand its Monroe County operations, adding 140 jobs within three years.
The County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency on Tuesday approved breaks on sales taxes for the company, which is to lease and renovate 13,000 square feet of space at the Rochester Technology Park in Gates.
Adecco will spend $410,000 on leasing and renovations, and $575,000 on equipment and furnishings, officials said.
COMIDA approved tax exemptions on four other projects.
Morrell Commercial LLC was approved for breaks on the $2.3 million construction of new headquarters on Pittsford-Victor Road in Perinton, adding eight jobs over three years. Morrell Commercial plans to share most of the building with the company's residential development entity, S&L Morrell Inc., with the remaining 20 percent to be leased to other tenants.
Prince ROC LLC was approved for tax breaks on a $1.1 million project involving the purchase and renovation of property at 19 Prince St. Law firm Brown & Tarantino LLC is to occupy the building, and add three jobs in three years.
Emerald Point Developers LLC was approved for property tax breaks for the $3.5 million construction of a 120,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on Buffalo Road for sheet metal fabricator and assembly company Advantech Industries Inc. The company is to add eight jobs within three years to its work force of 40.
Tax breaks were approved for Bedford Paving LLC on interest rates for loans and on equipment purchases related to the $150,000 purchase of two loaders. The Paul Road landscaping, paving and plowing company plans to create one new job.
