Rochester Technology Park Telecommunications
Rochester Technology Park is configured for present and future high-speed voice and data communications. The Park is pre-cabled with single-mode and multi-mode fiber optic cable and also with a copper voice backbone.
One of the unique features of the park is the presence of a SONET Ring that is extended into each of the buildings available for lease. Rochester Technology Park has installed three separate single-mode to the latest Bellcore Standards.
Each building contains a demarcation point for voice and data services from a variety of providers. Every tenant will have the opportunity to choose from several local providers that have placed their equipment within each building, making any voice, data and internet services available to tenants within a 14-day period. Lead times for voice/data services to the tenants will remain short due to the proximity of providers within each of the buildings.
